Meet Archie
Archie F. Litaker joined Litaker Insurance in 1986 as part of the third generation to lead the family business. He currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the agency. In his role, he oversees the agency and provides products and services for commercial and personal property and casualty insurance. He serves all industries but specializes in the hospitality, construction, and property management sectors.
A lifelong Charlottean, Archie attended East Mecklenburg High School, where he played baseball and football. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Risk Management & Insurance and followed in his grandfather's and father's footsteps into the insurance industry, where he has been for nearly 40 years.
Archie is committed to being there for his clients 24/7, but when he's not working, you'll find him spending quality time with his friends, coworkers, and family (spouse Amy, three grown children, seven grandchildren, and Jack Russell Terrier Chisel), hunting, hiking, riding four wheelers, spending time outdoors, and enjoying international foods like Mexican, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Indian. He is also passionate about giving back to his community and church. He serves as Chair of the Staff Parish Relations Committee at Weddington Methodist Church and was the Chair of the Church Council and Trustees. He has served on local and foreign missions for over 10 years and is an active participant in Habitat for Humanity.
